Melting & boiling points

When justifying the melting or boiling point, remember that higher melting point (or boiling point) equals stronger attractive forces

The _____ (melting/boiling) point is a measure of the energy required to break enough of the attractive forces, so that the compound goes from a _______ state to ______ state.
This means that when ________ (name of compound ) melts/boils, the ________ (type of attractive forces) attractive forces are broken
These are particularly ________________(weak/strong)
As a result, ________ (not much/a lot) of energy is required
This is why ________ (compound name) has such a ________ (low/high) ________________ (melting/boilding point).
